Developed by the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, the free online directory will help NSW Government agencies, businesses and members of the public find recycled content products and connect with suppliers across the state.
The directory is being introduced alongside new requirements for NSW Government agencies to preference recycled content in certain procurement activities. By making suppliers and products easier to find, the directory will help government buyers identify recycled content products that meet their procurement needs.
For suppliers, registering provides an opportunity to showcase recycled content products, increase visibility among government, industry and public buyers, and connect with potential customers and new market opportunities.
Growing demand for recycled content products is an important part of building a more circular economy. Creating stronger markets for products made from recovered materials can help keep valuable resources in use and support greater investment in recycling and resource recovery.
Registrations for the Choose Circular Directory close on Friday 25 September 2026. Suppliers can register their business and products through the NSW Government website.
Free Help Desk sessions are also available for suppliers who need assistance with registration. For further information, contact choose.circular@environment.nsw.gov.au.
